Living in Florida - The housing market is NOT dead! The Florida real estate market is just fine, the Florida lifestyle will make things ok again. Life in Florida is definitely different. Southwest Florida is mostly intact. Cape Coral Florida and Fort Myers Florida are quickly healing, however, the Florida rental market, especially in this area, is very strained and will take some time to open up new opportunities. People still want to move here because the Florida lifestyle is one of a kind and irreplaceable. Florida homeowners insurance and Florida flood insurance will be a hot topic for sometime to come.
